06 - 1 large egg
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
08 - 2 teaspoons ground cumin

12 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
13 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

# How To Make It:

01 - In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher, keeping some texture intact.
02 - Add diced red onion, minced garlic, rolled oats, breadcrumbs, egg, lime juice, ground cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped cilantro. Mix thoroughly until evenly incorporated.
03 - Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a round patty.
04 - Heat a nonstick skillet or grill pan over medium heat and lightly oil the surface. Cook patties for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and heated through.
05 - Optionally, toast burger buns lightly to enhance texture and flavor.
06 - Spread a dollop of zesty yogurt sauce or chipotle mayo on the bottom bun. Layer with shredded lettuce, black bean patty, sliced tomato, red onion, and avocado slices. Top with the upper bun.
